Celtic released their annual accounts the other day and declared a profit of over £40m but still the biscuit remains locked....
.Scales playing well again, Ange took against for some reason and never gave him a fair chance.

Looks decent any time I've seen him. Looks comfortable playing the ball out of defence with his left foot, especially "for a big lad"!

Maybe more seasoned watchers of celtic can confirm if he's international class, but most of our central defensive options are pushing on now.

Collins O Shea and Omobamidele are all under 23.

Duffy and Egan are hardly ancient.

I didn't say ancient, I said pushing on!

Well against Greece,France,Holland he would have been far more use than O’Dowda,Stevens or McClean for his defensive awareness.

Watched the first half and thought he did alright, Celtic fans on twitter generally saying he has been their best player and he seems to be turning a corner. Definitely think he deserves a chance at LWB for Ireland. He was brilliant there for Rovers and I seem to remember him doing a good job for the u21s at LB under Kenny a few times.

Scales was decent tonight. One thing I really like about him is he will really commit to a tackle and put his body on the line. He definitely merits his place in the team at the moment and hopefully he continues the improvement.

Agree with this, he had a good game tonight, but I dont think he's really a centre back and its not where we need him in any case. Should be fighting it out with Manning for the LB/LWB role in the next campaign.

Thought he was celtics best player . Might not be hard with some of the players they have. Must be the worst Celtic team in living memory. Don’t think he would threaten a starting place for Ireland but definitely an option if some of the first choice were injured . I’d have him in squad

Very solid tonight. Comfortable in possession & playing out under pressure. Defensively made probably 6 or 7 good interventions.

I think he could do a job for us at LB in a 4, or at LWB.

I think he'll get his Ireland debut next month.

Possibly against Gibraltar. Kenny will almost certainly stick with what he knows against Greece

Becoming a live option for left back if we go back to a back four. O'Shea and Omobamidele two other options to play centrally and at full back. Collins, Egan, Lenihan then can probably play centrally only. Coleman around too for right back.

Hopefully we transition to that formation under this manager or the next. We have no full back options and a pair of centre forwards, as well as attacking wide players and a few that we could give a run there like Festy.

Midfield the biggest issue at present but that's an issue with any formation really.

I dont think it necessarily suits him, but Collins actually played quite a few games at Right Back for Stoke. I'm not sure Omobamidele ever has. O'Shea has played both full back positions. Coleman's time is surely up after this campaign.

We could go the Pep tactic
4 centre halves across a back 4

Both were signed as project players and both are well thought of in their own countries. Holm has done quite well so far, bar his f**k-up tonight. Looks like a player. Lagerbielke has been thrown in at the deep-end due to injuries and has done okay (probably 4th choice otherwise). Was unlucky with the penalty tonight, don’t think there’s too much in it. They’re not keeping anyone “out of the team”, you’re way off there, regardless of how you rate them.
