Then there are at least two Newtown United's LOL

I thought it was the Wickla crowd meself, but Soccerway had it listed as the Meath side. Either way, good result for them. http://https://www.facebook.com/newtownutdfc

Why would Shams not want to win the trophy  ?
(understood it is the Leinster Senior Cup but what are they saving themselves for ?)

I've no idea why LOI clubs chose to/are allowed to compete in provincial cups.
It's a lose/lose situation.
They will be ridiculed if they get knocked out by a non league side and no one gives a sh*te if they win it.
They also make the chances of non league sides winning it slim to none and those are the side who would love to win it.
I won the Player of the Century award thanks to the people.Pele was second. He also came second behind Aryton Senna as Brazil's greatest sportsman. The award FIFA gave Pele isn't worth sh*t - Maradona

Relying on your friends on the Northside to do you a favour --- risky ??

Would be very happy to oblige if Galway return the favour (on your behalf)

That's hardy Dundalk's first team is it!!!!
Rovers only played Saturday which I am sure was a factor too. Yes you've got Friday but you hardly came to lose did you.

Which is my point. Neither team really gave a damn about it, two reserve sides.

Oh no, we lost in the final of a competition we have asked to be excused from. That cuts deep.
