Can't see Rogers staying if the likes of Maddison and Tielemans also go. Could be a bet for relegation at the rate they are selling with nothing comming in.

I could agree with you but then we'd both be wrong.

16/1 for relegation. Worth a small punt.

I always presumed Schmeichel would stay at Leicester bar a last season at a Danish club / MLS ect. Whatever is going on behind the scenes probably made his mind up to leave.

Its really odd, especially if the Madison and Fofana moves go ahead. I can understand selling to Chelsea but selling to Newcastle would be nuts. Tielemans walking at the end of the season for free too.

Summinks not right there Jeff. Maybe the dead owners son has lost interest and Schmeichel's had it away on his toes. |

If you look at the excellent Swiss Ramble's analysis of their most recent accoiunts, 2020/21, a few things stand out: #LCFC have now reported 3 consecutive years of losses, adding up to £121m, which is in stark contrast to the 4 years of profits after promotion to the Premier League in 2014. That included the amazing £92m surplus in 2017, which is actually the 3rd highest profit in PL history. Their loss for 2020/21 was £33m (down from £56m previous year) which is actually not bad by PL standards, but their profitable years were always bolstered by profit on player transfers, and their loss-making years mitigated by same (eg Chilwell £50m to Chelsea in 2020/21). All of which explains that their present need to sell before they can buy is nothing particularly new, made worse this season by their missing out on Europe. As for Rodgers, while he presumably doesn't like this, he has nonetheless ackowleged it, in public at least. So unless there's something more to come out, it's probably manageable, if unwanted. And as for the owner losing interest, the fact that he sanctioned the spending of £100m(!) on a new Training Complex, opened at the end of 2020, suggests he's as committed as ever: Edited by Territorial - 02 Aug 2022 at 6:11pm |

No looking good for Brendan.
Bottom of the league players sold and he's criticised the owners. His days look numbered.

I think he will be next to go. The squad is still good enough to be a top 10 side but they look out of confidence and seems like the end of the road.
New manager with new ideas to give them a new spark is probably what they need to avoid situation that they linger near relegation zone for.the season

A lot of needless passing about at the back last night from them i felt. Never looked like scoring until a half chance in the last minute when they played a long ball to Ihenacho to flick down to Justin
Probably would have been as well doing more of that instead of Evans passing it to the keeper and back
