Expensive muff?

If you're on honeymoon, you shouldn't be paying for muff.

FAO Muff.

Two main providers of long-distance high-speed trains in Italy.

Have a look at Italo (www.italotreno.it) and Trenitalia (www.trenitalia.com).

Make sure you search from Venezia Santa Lucia though, not Mestre. Santa Lucia is the station out in the city on the lagoon, whereas Mestre is on the mainland. You want one from Santa Lucia.

And you're going to Napoli Centrale, no hassle there. You may need to use the Italian names to search, even on the English-language sites.

Also, have a look here:

and

That will help you decide whether to go with Italo or Trenitalia. I would heartily recommend paying a little bit extra for one of the nicer classes, as you get things like a free prosecco when you get on board, as well as the bigger seats and at-seat food service (which you might want on a five-hour journey). I'd probably recommend Primo on Italo but it all depends on the times and price you are willing to pay, as well as the date you are travelling.

Seeing as it would be a long train journey I don't mind paying extra for comfort. It would fall on a Friday/Saturday. There's decent train times on Italo's website and for an extra 30 odd quid for a Flex ticket, I can get 80% of a refund if I've to cancel which would make sense to book if the covid-19 situation worsens and I have to cancel it.

Cheers. Thumbs Up

Yep,

Did this last year and the weather was unreal. Different story if the weather isn't great.

I think it was about 120e per night or something.

Just back form a holiday in Kerry, Cork, Clare and Galway. As good as any I've been on tbhClap Is it not a sad thing that you've left/ got kicked off a forum so many times and keep coming back?! You have more to be worried about than if people leave the country by the sound of it
