4-0
For these games, you must keep a cold heart no, a warm heart and a cold mind no, head! So you must have a warm heart and (pause)a cold head.

4-0. Hat-trick Aduriz. Dominant. An away goal would make Monday interesting.

Amazing win and performance from Athletic. Thoroughly deserved.

I'd say that's the last time Bartra, Adriano and Vermaelan will be allowed to play together with Mascherano in front of them.

Great to see Athletic win a title. Aduriz is getting better with age. Party time in Bilbao.

First trophy in 31 years. I wonder is the Super Cup deemed important enough to take a barge down the River Nervión?

Definitely. Wouldn't be too surprised to see him manage Barca in the future.

No barge celebration as they have Europa League on Thursday.

In other news: some are saying Mangala to Valencia is off, and now Valencia want €50m for Otamendi. It would be great if they got that. Buy Garay for a fraction of the price and overall there wouldn't be much damage done to the team with a decent amount of cash left over.

Graham Hunter says he has been on their list 3 times before,a bit of a nearly man

As regards Otamendi,I'd much rather the potential deal now,50m in cash is much better than having 40m and Mangala for just the one season,he hasn't come across as very keen to go either.I'd be delighted to have Garay there,he'd be a top class addition

Kranevitter expected to sign for Atleti for €8m. If he does sign he'll stay at River until after the World Club Cup. Another very talented young player joining the squad.

They've come a long way since Simeone took over.

3 games into the La Liga season. No goals from play yet. Just one great Salva Sevilla free kick.

Atletico -v- Las Palmas should change that. O.Torres starting.
No Las Palmas players are from the Spanish mainland. 16 islanders and 3 South Americans.

He's on the bench. Hopefully he gets on.

Las Palmas are doing well.

Atletico should wrap it up in the second half. If it stays 1-0 there is always a chance for Las Palmas.

Still no goal from play yet...

While i was watching the game I heard both Armstrong and the other commentator discussing the quality Target Men Bilbao have had over the years. The other lad mentioned Llorente and Armstrong says sure he's back at Bilbao. I've changed over to the Juve match and guess who comes on Llorente. Armstrong is some clown.

Sergi Roberto should never be played in midfield again. He looks decent at right back. Enrique will be hoping it's not a once off perfromance, they need options from the bench. Very weak aside from about 13 players.
