That's a fantastic article/interview. Read it earlier. Truly a different world
You asked if I'd be anyone from history, fact or fiction, dead or alive:
I said "I'd be Tony Cascarino, circa 1995"

McGrath's tackle on Robson before the goal, saying he got the ball LOL

Would love to read a book by Moran, he seems like he'd have some great stories.

Same here, unbelievable career. Nobody will ever do that again.

Chap I worked with was in school with him and he said playing for Dublin helped him massively at United - he saw players at United who were incredibly good in training but couldn't hack the pressure of playing in front of 60,000 expecting fans every week at Old Trafford. Moran said being used to the pressure of 60,000 expectant Dublin fans helped him make the transition at United much easier.

Interesting to hear him say in the interview that he values those All-Ireland wins more than anything he achieved in his professional/international football career.

67% points to games ratio at the last Euro's (better than Portugal's)

Great clip. Was at that match as a teenager . Never forget the atmosphere . The quality of players we had too back then . We were so unlucky to miss euro 92 with that squad. England jammy in the end . Now look at us hoping for a 3rd place but likely to get 4th.
