I think you see Randy with green-tinted specs, I would be amazed if any EPL club came in for him. He will be lucky to get back to a lower Championship club.

Hardly, I've consistently critiqued his continued inclusion ahead of Westwood. I think your closing remark shows there's more than an element of personal dislike tainting your view of Randolph, somewhat like Gibson and Wilson perhaps? He's already proved himself a good Championship keeper and decent international one, but yeah, I'd imagine he'll really be scraping the barrel trying to find a Championship suitor......
Confused Why would I dislike him?Like Wilson, I know absolutely nothing about them off the pitch. I think Randolph is a decent, journeyman goalkeeper who got a run of form at Birmingham and made the most of it. I think his level is lower Championship. I think Wilson is an incredibly limited footballer who has an excellent agent. I have no problem with either personally. I just don't think Randolph should be first choice for Ireland and don't think Wilson should be anywhere near our squad. Hardly personal, is it?
Gibson is clearly talented but is determined to throw it away and has shown his character to be that of the modern spoiled footballer.
I do think you see some Irish players as better than what they are because you want them to be and complain when anyone says anything that disagrees with that.

I'd rate Stockdale over Westwood any day and so would most people on here if he had an irish granny; he made a massive contribution to getting Brighton promoted.
Having said that on current form Al Habsi is the best keeper outside the prem. Those Omanis just take this beautiful game to another level as we know.

Al-Habsi is wildly inconsistent, he makes brilliant saves and awful clangers, I would never trust him. I think Westwood has been more consistent than Stockdale over the past few years and Irish bias aside(by the way, Westwood has always struck me as a bit of a dick, I think it was that 'good catholic boy' malarkey), I would have him ahead of Stockdale.

I think Stockdale's heart is set on Leeds, he is from there and grew up supporting them and might never get another chance. Best of luck to him as I assume he could get more money at some of the EPL clubs who wanted him.

Randolph tops the poll in today's Sun for most errors leading to goals.

Hope so too. Randolph is far too error prone for me.

Westwood should hang up his boots from international football soon anyway if he doesn't begin to start games for us

Arguably the most talented keeper available for selection at present, very good the few times I've seen him in the last couple of seasons and his form for Wednesday consistent.

An injury-prone goalkeeper isn't really what any of them need. I saw reports a few months ago linking Rob Elliot with Leeds, that night be a better move for them and from an Irish POV.
We're decent enough..

I still believe he is our best goalkeeper and should be starting for us. He must be gutted and overall disappointed with his international career, going to two major tournaments and not making an appearance.
