Keane at his best calling it as it is ...but is this timing right ... alot of people agree with what he is saying but have let the memories of Cyprus and San Marino go and are willing to get behind team once again ... Massive game on Saturday for all involved , Stan , the Players , the FAI and the FANS ! Massive

its raising the expectations and putting pressure on those who deserve pressure. I'm sure hes saying it as a fan of Ireland who wants them to do well aswell as having a sneaky dig aswell.  Its an absolute massive game on Saturday. Nothing but 3 points is acceptable!

Yep he is saying it as a fan and I hope the pressure works out

Quality newsworthiness he has - He opens his trap for 2 minutes and it's all over the media front page, back page , TV and  radio too.. he's a living legend

Think Keane has a different agenda here.
Just cause HE says it, it shouldn't be welcomed.

First off he has a go cause Miller isn't in the squad.
Keane doesn't start him that much for Sunderland.

And this bullsh*t of playing the Cork racist card is pathetic.

And the timing is all wrong, shouldn't be saying this stuff 3 days before a big game.

As always Keane has something to say and you can't argue with a lot of it, but sometimes you'd wish he'd say nothing, if we all went about 'sayin it how it iz' we'd f**king get nowhere.

I take particular offence to labelling Steve Finnan and Shay Given as players not performing for their clubs...Keane musn't be watching the Premiership anymore as Finnan as arguabbly the best right back in the league (admittedly he has under performed for Ireland). And Given has been brilliant for club and in particular for Ireland

As for the the FAI/Staunton are against players from Cork is ridiculous

Personally i think Finann has had an average season. I think Keane's point was that Given only plays for Newcastle - what have they achieved etc etc. Like me i'm sure he'd love to see him play for a bigger and better club!!
Ok, who's missing?

Well if Roy say's it it must be true. He's more infallible than the Pope with the Irish fans. I suppose his nose his still out of joint with Staunton over Saipan, mind you he seems to have forgiven "Mother Teresa" a lot quicker.
