Have you ever seen his goals for Man Utd? The amount of times he hits a shot straight at the keeper only for it to rebound straight to him to score with the follow up. Bizarre. Quality thread this I know.

RCS were in the WC 94 qualifiers. Republics of Czech and Slovakia. Think they were in Wales qualifying group.

I bought a Soviet Union jersey with my Communion money in 1990. It was the same design as the Dutch Euro 88 jersey except in red. One of my favourite jerseys of all time.

I got Kanchelskis No 14 on my first United jersey and the flute was sold the following summer
 I think his agent/representatives were supposed to have been very dodgy to deal with. According to Ferguson anyway.

Scored probably the worst hat trick you will ever see in terms of the quality of the goals. Dirk Kuyt’s against United would be a close contender.
Rivaldo’s hat trick against Valencia was the best I’ve ever seen.

Could be something similar at the next World Cup. All 55 FIFA-affiliated national teams from UEFA will enter qualification. On 9 December 2019, the World Anti-Doping Agency handed Russia a four-year ban from all major sporting events, after RUSADA was found non-compliant for handing over manipulating lab data to investigators.[2] However, the Russia national team could still enter qualification, as the ban only applies to the final tournament to decide the world champions. If Russia were to qualify, Russian footballers could still potentially compete at the tournament, pending a decision from FIFA. However, a team representing Russia which uses the Russian flag and anthem cannot participate under the WADA decision.
