The Dundalk man now has five goals in nine games for Atlanta United 2.

Has mostly been playing on the wing, and has travelled with the first team on a few occasions this season.

But is also a solid option as an out and out striker.

While the standard isn’t exactly top class, surely Jon should be pushing for a place in our under-21s? He’s playing and scoring at a higher level than Grego-Cox.

If you search his name on Twitter, there’s also a few clips of him chipping in with nice assists every now and then. He does seem a decent prospect, albeit at a limited level.

I am sure if we look at all sorts of reserve sides you'll find a few Irish lads performing well.

Atlanta United "2" doesn't exactly set the heart racing.

Never know i guess!

Not sure if you’d class it a reserves league, there’s been over 10,000 people at some of Atlanta’s games this season, while a good few of the lads in the squad have played for the MLS side too.

He's worth a look for the Under-21's; it would hardly be a travesty if he was left out though at the same time.

Maybe, but Grego-Cox isn’t even playing at a professional level and starts.

Currently no, but lest we forget that Grego-Cox has appeared in the Premier League and scored lots of goals for QPR's youth teams (a similar level to what Gallagher is playing at the moment). So in terms of who has achieved more in their careers thus far, Grego-Cox is probably ahead. He's obviously not going well at the moment though,  so guys like Gallagher deserve to be considered.

Right attacking mid. A place we dont have many options. Aberdeen is a good club.would give him a chance if he shines there. We need to bring players like him and the other fellow at QPR asap.

Robbie Keane was at the game today. Hopefully he was there for Gallagher and not some closeted hun
You asked if I'd be anyone from history, fact or fiction, dead or alive:
I said "I'd be Tony Cascarino, circa 1995"

Lets not get ahead of ourselves. One goal for Aberdeen when he was on loan there.
