According to yesterdays Irish Indo John will be offered a player/coaching role at the end of the season by Sunderland.

Hes said himself in the last few days that theres 4 offers on the table, one of them being Wolves.
Hes also admitted he wants to play regularly to keep himself in the frame for the world cup should we make it. |

Wouldn't be surprised to see him sign for Ipswich, no doubt there is an offer from an MLS side too. He would be ideal for any MLS club.
