To be fair to Kenny, this seems like a really good appointment. Eustace is very well thought of in England and has been mentioned for decent managerial jobs. Not sure how he does it but Kenny has a knack of pulling off a surprise fairly regularly and it's working out for him.

I agree.

When Eustace was manager of Kidderminster Harriers a rival manager described them as "the Barca of non league football"

Personally I like that he decided to retire from playing rather than accept a contract that Warburton offered him for Sevco

Personally, I wouldn't care if he was King Billy himself as long as he is a decent coach and is able to get his ideas across to the players.

Seems to be a likeable character. A lot of people inside the game speak highly of him

Talk that Mark Warburton might not get a new contract in the summer. Would be our f**king luck if QPR offered Eustace the managers job if Warburton is left leave.

Being heavily linked with Watford now.

Rumors of interest from Burnley in recent weeks too as well as obviously the QPR job on a permanent basis.

A man in demand anyway.

Ah FFS.
If that happens it's downright bad luck for Kenny.

Hes on a random list the bookies make up. Same as any list you hear about when any job comes up. Prob just pure speculation. Does a mans word mean nothing in football nowadays tho. If you commit to a job you should see it through. Esp one he has just accepted.

He doesn't feel like a Watford appointment under the Pozzo family. Have they appointed any rookies? Generally they have gone for older managers and a lot of non-English ones. The two English ones were Hodgson, who has a lot of experience outside England, and Nigel Pearson, who came in from a Belgian side. Xisco had the least experience when he came in from Dinamo Tbilisi.
