Good player, Egan. Can see Kenny liking him

You asked if I'd be anyone from history, fact or fiction, dead or alive:
I said "I'd be Tony Cascarino, circa 1995" |

thought he looked ropey defensively against Bulgaria. Happy enough to stick with Keogh and Duffy

He's too ropey in a back 4, always has a mistake in him, yday for example yes he was immense but was bailed out numerous times by McConnell and Basham which is why if Ireland ever go with a 3 at the back he'll slot in perfectly but I wouldn't be confident of him in w back 4.

He loves the kids, he brings the gear, thinks he's Mother Theresa this year.....

I'd agree that he's never looked entirely convincing in a back 4 for Ireland.

We're decent enough..

Thought Egan was slightly at fault as well for Spurs's goal. He should've hoofed out that ball clear when Stevens underhit it back.

Becoming our best central defender with the form he's in. Which is really good for Ireland.
Clarke is also looking like he's turned things around for himself and is playing his best football for Newcastle, albeit only over the last 5 odd games. In a cruel twist of faith Duffy is struggling with Brighton. Struggling might be too strong a work but he's finding it difficult to start now Has to be something in ireland playing a back three

Indeed they do DM. I work with a Blades fan who has been raving about him for a long time. Have to say I thought his career might have stalled after Brentford, but he has definitely kicked on - as has Stevens.
