I wonder whether Mooney will see the light and measure Joseph McGlue’s antics over the next couple of months or he just cuts him off now?

question for the legal experts around here.
this whatsapp group that was potentially hacked (was it, wasn't it?) but if it was determined that the group was hacked and the whatsapp group was identified would the participants of that group have the right to legal proceedings against the FAI and Mr McGlue?
|
They'd need a court order to force Facebook to hand over any information as far as I'm aware. They cant just "hack in".
They wouldn't be bothered going through the effort for a few banners. I'd be pretty sure he was talking rubbish |
They wouldn't be able to access the chat, but it isn't beyond the realms of possibility that the security services of a state could strongarm someone to let them share their access, steal a phone or laptop etc.
I think that the Gardaí should be asked whether they attempted to access private communications, whether there is any truth in what McGlue has been claiming. Hopefully, being a Nordie, Drew Harris would be less likely to have had his back scratched by Delaney.
Also, it would be worthwhile to get a statement from Facebook/Whatsapp to detail the attempts at accessing the group.
Don't forget, if McGlue has been lifting a salary and not doing the job he claims to be, then there are questions to be asked about what he has been doing. How many of his 'responsibilities' have been explained away with nonsense?

Really?
Gardaí confirmed in a statement that they also visited the flight centre earlier on Saturday afternoon, and “were informed that the plane would not be taking off due to technical issues.”

Nothing to stop someone tipping them off, screenshots etc. But trying to get the security services to hack a WhatsApp for a banner is probably up there with wasting garda time.
No doubt they got tipped off along the line but highly doubt it was through an attempted hack, simply based on you'd think they have better things to be doing.
Like an earlier poster said I'd be asking the question if they actually wasted anytime trying to hack a WhatsApp group.

Wanderer don’t be so naive
I’ve seen an email sent from McGlue to a Garda Inspector’s Gmail address stating my real name and ‘Pipkin’. Did you read the article?

Yeah I read it.
I just didn't think that the gardai would have trying to hack a fans whatsapp group at the top of their agenda.
Hopefully theres some sort of legal route the 2 lads mentioned yesterday can take now.

Doesn't it sound like McGlues role is like Doug Stamper from house of Cards. He'd do anything for the dear leader.
