He would be in no way a bigger loss than Rice or Grealish, that just unnecessary hype for a developing young player by whoever said it. He's a decent prospect but if you asked a City fan to name their 10 best up and coming young players at the club he most likely wouldn't be on the list (Bazunu would probably be in there).

He may be good enough or he may not be, it's too soon to tell. He is extremely small for a potential top level footballer, seems very injury prone and hasn't yet played a minute of senior football on which we can properly judge him at that level. When he has played at underage levels he has looked talented and I'd have hope that he may one day be an Irish senior cap. Anything beyond that is pure guesswork.

Well that came out of nowhere. Makes sense though, although hard to see him breaking into the Wolves team any time soon either.

Saw a tweet which said he was coming back to fitness so glad to hear he'll be back playing soon.

Odd ManC let him go as he seemed a prized asset but Wolves is no shoddy place.
Hope we see him in an U21 game this calendar year.....Tallaght v Italy being ideal Thumbs Up

More than likely he'll be sent over to Grasshopper sometime soon to gain senior experience.

Scott Sellars was at Man City so would have known all about it. Nabbed him for his Wolves academy.

Was injured when he signed for Wolves. Haven't heard of him playing a game at any level for Wolves so presumably he is still injured.

Could you post that link please, cant find it.
Very intertested in this kid, a lot was talked about him a few years ago. The move to Wolves should see him get game time sooner than he would (if ever) at City. That can only be a good thing for us long term, if he can get over his injury problems.

Thanks for that. The twitter post was from 3 weeks ago, so hopefully by now he's close to full fitness and worth keeping an eye out for Wolves U23 teamsheets to see if he is getting game time

Great to see his old man made it across for the senior game against Portugal last Thursday too!

Is his dad his agent? I wonder if he had any say in him playing for England at U16 and U17 level.

I had a quick look at the Wolves fans forum. They still havent seen Hodge, presumably still injured. This lad was a hot prospect at one stage, but seems to have been beset with injuries for 12 months now. Hope he makes it back.
