Eamonn Dunphy:"I'll tell you who wrote it, Rod Liddle, he's the guy who ran away and left his wife for a young one".
Bill O'Herlihy: Ah ye can't be saying that now Eamonn |

Thought I read that he was to go to one or two of the matches this weekend. If so, Stoke and West Ham would be the obvious one to attend. All the Irish lads plus Pennant are playing well. Edited by grannyrule - 13 Mar 2011 at 10:41am |

Pennant off with 10 mins to go after a reasonably good game.

corrected that for you. if pennant was even named in our team, if it means getting green out of the team, then i am happy. i can't stand to see this chump named in the team any more. we're trying to qualify for a european championships for the 1st time in 24 years. we need as many players to be on par with what got us to a world cup in 2002. and with the likes of coleman, mccarthy, clark, wilson, fahey, stokes etc and now possibly pennant and o'hara, well lads, that is a strong enough team coupled with what we have to choose from at the moment to compare with the likes of 2002. So? It could just mean we have an extra winger in place of a central midfielder? Edited by CPS89 - 13 Mar 2011 at 8:07pm |

Poor aul Paul Green, even in a thread about Jermain Pennant, he manages to be slated.
Pennant in green? Hope that's the colour of Stoke's third kit you're referring to.

i thought Pennant was awful yesterday!? i only watched the first half..from these comments he mustv greatly improved the 2nd half?
i think its good for competition and depth in our squad which wev been missing but i still wouldnt start him ahead of players like coleman, duff, mcgeady, larwence or hunt! |
