Hendrick was awful in the game against Brentford. I don't think he touched the ball once.

A very good point

Is it f**k a good point! HB is right to laugh at that.

If you believe a laughing emoji is a good response then that’s fair enough. Some people on here are older than 12 so won’t understand what you are trying to achieve.

Molumby isn't getting any game time at Brighton. Cullen plays in a league that would be on a par with League Two. McCarthy has played well in a green shirt maybe less than 3 times. Hourihane has been awful for Ireland. Brown is a decent option to bring off the bench after 60 mins, not a starter. Knight looks good and should be in the first XI. Brady can definitely do a box to box job.
Looks like Hendrick is still our best option for now. I'd go with Hendrick, Brady and Knight in a midfield 3 unless Cullen can show that a league Two level player can do a job for us.

I’m no fan of Hendrick and do feel there needs to be an effort to bring in fresh faces ahead of the reliables not performing. However you can’t say that the other 6 mentioned would be so much better ability wise than Hendrick I accept that.

Your entitled to your opinion but calling the Belgian League League 2 level?? football exists outside of England you know? 😂

How did he come to that conclusion? Genk, Gent and Royal Antwerp have all been decent in Europe in recent memory.

Your not even including the best of them Club Brugge? A mental comment altogether. 😂😂

He was a unused sub for that game.

Has this fellow been dropped or is he injured? Not in the Newcastle team today.
Also Clark looks ok again against City, if the Duffy implosion continues at least we have another option.

He's probably ahead of him but our managers always seem to stay loyal to certain players by starting them regardless of form, and Duffy could be one of them

Of course Duffy is one of them. A good servant but really to move on he’s the first high profile player Kenny needs to replace if he wants to succeed just doesn’t suit the way he wants to play.

He's been on the bench for most of Celtic's last few games and his stock has been steadily dropping since the move was announced. Inversely, Dara O'Shea's reputation is on the rise as one of WBA's few positives, Nathan Collins has cemented himself in Stoke's first team as they challenge for promotion, and Ciaran Clark is performing better at a higher level.

I'd be fairly positive Kenny will have the cajones to drop him if things continue at their present rate.

Will he though? We have options in this position and in Egan we have a commanding CB too it’s not like he or Clark O’Shea Collins lack physicality. Even from corners our tendency to just look for Duffy from every corner is actually amateurish and teams had it sussed.

I would even go as far as saying Duffys place in a back 4 with those 4 fit and and firing on should be under serious threat for March? Will that be the case?

The only question in our back 4 as it is today is does O'Shea replace Stevens. I think its Coleman Egan Clarke O'Shea for me. These things can change though. We have lots of options at the back now.

Not on team again. Didn't take them too long to realise he's an utterly pointless player.

He's on a four year contract and earning £2,100,000 a year. He will normally ( barring illness, injury or form issues ) be an automatic first team choice, as he was at Burnley.

You could say it was pointless bringing him off against Leeds considering they utterly collapsed after doing so.
