Hendrick is the future for us, he has had a fantastic tournament- easily been our best player.

Walters coming back from an offside position but Shane Long was definitely onside- Shane Lonnggggggg.... has done it!!!!

hes been player off the tournament for me. looks the business ever since i saw him drag the irish u21's back from 2-0 down against italy(ironically enough) to draw 2-2 in sligo. we haven't had a proper midfielder who can actually effect and influence games since keane. i think hes been awesome, future captain.

I was unsure of him previously but he has showed what a decent player he is in this tournament in the match tonight and v Sweden. He is due a move to the Premiership or possibly even to the Serie A. Some of the Italian media were raving about him even before the match.

Definitely an EPL standard player. To think people were pining for him to be left out in favour of Arter... He's been excellent, technically very good and a real athlete too.
We're decent enough..

Said last season if Derby dont get promoted I'd be very surprised if he didnt move up to EPL level.

After that, I'd be very shocked if a club didnt go for him now.

Roy Keane's comments after the Belarus game were obviously directed at him and they worked.. He's looks like a real player so far in this tournament

I need to reassess this opinion, he's been superb this tournament and really come of age .....if he continues he could play at a high level in the Premiership and be very effective at it
