Fergie saying on manutd.com that hernandez is uniteds penalty taker

Surely at the risk of putting rooneys nose out of joint coupled with the fact hernandez isnt a starter this is a strange decision
It took City 44 years to win the league and 10 months to lose it

Easy saying that as hernanedez is only a bit part player and Rooney will take most of them anyway as he will play more.

probably after the penalty that rooney scored, because it was a sh*te pen. if keeper hadn't have dived the wrong way, he'd have got it.

Right found it.
 
This is clearly a case of vivakenbarlow half reading an article.
 
"When you are leading 2-1 and then get a penalty with only minutes to go it’s difficult to visualise having to settle for a draw. The late penalty caught us on the hop in that Javier Hernandez was the player we had planned should any spot kicks come our way, but of course he had been substituted. I would then have expected Ryan Giggs to take over but Nani stepped forward and I was surprised at the on-pitch decision."
 
Ferguson is clearly only speaking about the Fulham game. A game which Wayne Rooney didn't play!
