Its not a surprise social media ended up being his downfall. His misses was posting about travelling back and forth to Derry when no travel was allowed, so his club will have been aware of possible rule breaking.
Still highlights the mad world we live in where keeping fit lands you in trouble. Hopefully he gets back in the team.

I can't think off the top of my head of any suspensions but in the last week the clubs have come under immense pressure from their leagues and the press about players behaviour, so Stoke have obviously reacted to this to demonstrate a hardline stance on any breaches moving forward.

You must RISE to the tap of your game. Was it not a boxing gym that McClean was in. He seems to do as much boxing training as football. I commend the love of training but did think it waa abit daft him posting it on insta. Big union jack in the gym too 😂

The authorities are unable to stamp out any kind of racism it seems
Black players abused on a weekly basis Theirs are highlighted though, McCleans very rarely is unless he does it himself

It's easier to hide than stand up and be counted. You only need to look at some of the Irish performances on the pitch.

The English like to say that McClean brings it on himself but Alan McCormack and Paul McShane have also been racially abused recently along with God knows how many others who don't report it.

Im going to say we, do we perceive irish jibes as racist. Take James aside as in fairness he may come accross as a bit anti english. I dont think he is but he puts himself out there. Im not saying he has done anything wrong. But in general what do we think? I mean is there anything that bad that could be said to us?
