Couldn't find a thread on this lad, apologies if he has been already posted.

18 year old central midfielder at Arsenal, just signed first pro contract. English born, but family from Leitrim. 

Played against Hibs in first team friendly in July, and trains with the first team sometimes. He has been involved with Irish U18 and U19, but only on the fringes it seems. Couldn't find his exact number of appearances. 

With Arteta promoting youth, he could be in with a chance to progress. By all accounts he is impressing at U23 level.

First team debut for a PL or Championship team, maybe a League One team depending on the circumstances, warrants a thread. This? Not so much.

Besides, this chap is English, so until his Intl allegiance is clarified, that's another reason to hold fire on starting a thread for him.

I understand, he did make a first team debut for Arsenal, but only in a pre-season friendly.

He has been involved in Ireland U18 and U19, but anything could happen if he breaks through.

Pretty sure he's only been in one U19s training camp back in August who played two behind closed doors games.

yeah I was thinking I hadnt seen him listed in teamsheets. I guess a lot of underage internationals didnt happen for a good year because of Covid but all of the Irish international underage teams have played recently.

Anyone know why he wasnt involved?

He's only back from injury the last 2 or 3 weeks. Missed a large chunk of the start of the season.

yeah I had a look at Arsenal U18 and U23 match teamsheets and didnt see him involved. Will be interesting to see if he makes our squads next time around. Our U19's are playing away to Montenegro next week and also play Bosnia Herzogovina and Bulgaria the following week

Hopefully there's streams available for the games in Bulgaria. U19s have some decent players and that's not including the lads from the U17s like Vata, Zefi, and Ferizaj.

 Jack Henry-Francis was included in Arsenal's b-list squad for the Europa League, but ended up not making the bench for the Sporting game. 

He's 19 now, and has made appearances in 10 of Arsenal's 19 PL2 games this season. He picked up an injury in February, and hasn't played in PL2 since, but was a regular prior to that.

Several league one clubs apparently looking to take him on loan for next season. 

Forums and fans saying he's a tenacious tackler, good presser, and passer - promising No 6

Good to hear, could become an important player for our U21s if Hodge steps up to the seniors over the course of the campaign!
