Hopefully he doesn't impact on the development of Watts, McEneff, Bolger, Kavanagh etc. Also promising young players who you'd want to be playing regularly too.
We're decent enough..

How could he impact on their development?

He could teach them how to throw a strop.

For anyone being overly harsh on Byrne btw, it's worth considering his background. Lost his father when he was just 11, which would obviously have had a big effect on him. It's not hard to imagine, for example, that it may have led to him having an aversion to investing himself into anything too heavily for fear that it will be taken away from him. That would go a long way to explaining why he does so well when he's instantly put into a team (Cambuur and Oldham), but quickly capitulates when things are made more difficult for him (Wigan, Blackburn, and Kilmarnock).

Has he found him yet?

That’s the reason why any scout worth his salt does a background check on a promising player.

Shows what a bad attitude does, should have stayed in Cambuur another season.

Really hope it works out for him at Rovers and it's just a short stint back at home before he gets a move back over to Europe.

He looked happier and more prepared to apply himself at Cambuur where he was playing regularly. He doesn't seem to have the patience to bide his time and work his way into a team. If he's a frequent starter in the LOI, which, as has been pointed out, is by no means a certainty, hopefully he'll kick on from there.

Sincerely hope he can move his career forward. A proper talent. Perhaps a move back to Holland would suit him
You asked if I'd be anyone from history, fact or fiction, dead or alive:
I said "I'd be Tony Cascarino, circa 1995"

Conpletely different types of player. Cullen is an orthodox midfielder who is tidy in possession and will keep things ticking over; Byrne is an attacking midfielder who can provide moments of quality and a goal threat.

Yes, but Cullen has been brought in to replace Alan Browne who is more offensive (or has been this season).
