It's just not the DUP's year. Played for suckers by the Tories, thrown repeatedly under the bus by Bojo, getting the blame for the local chaotic Covid response as well as the new sea border and all the other Brexit woes to come that they stupidly chose to ignore and to top it all a new President of the USA who is strongly pro-Irish unity, pro-EU and despises Bojo and his clown car cabinet. Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of people.

Biden has made very bigoted jokes in the past but a boycott would just isolate them more, particularly in a post Brexit and Covid world.
It would damage this forums' reputation

SF are gone top in the latest opinion poll. FF and FG will have to change tactics. Their American style campaigns of trying to find dirt on the opposition isn't working.

SinnFein have a good few very able politicians,I have voted for o Broin in the last couple of elections , my worry is the likes of that gobsh*te Ellis and a few more still hanging around. Mind you, the same can be said about FF who have a lot of demagogues flying their peculiar free state Republican banner, and FG, who seem happy with Leo and his Merry band of sound bite populists, and Thatcherite clowns like Paschal.
I wish we had a choice of a socially aware , financially able and progressive party that put people first but won’t hold breath on it

here’s one for ya, name your favourite politician from each party.

I’d go:
FF - Micheal Martin
FG - Simon Harris
SF - Eoin O Broin (but his glasses make him look like a joke figure)
Labour: Aodhán O Riordan
Green: Neasa Hourican
SD: Holly Cairns
Others: Mick Barry

Don’t reply back with a “they’re awful” without listing your favourites
