Nothing official yet but a number of sources indicate hes completed his medical and the deal is done. £1.5m rising to £2m.

Great news if so.
He's had a fair stretch on the sidelines now so a run of games should show us what he can offer.
I'd love to see him back in the senior squad come October.

He probably won't be in it come October regardless but the hope is he plays regular football there and hits the ground running and gradually will be under consideration again.

The senior and 21s Management have never really warmed to the guy but reality is if he's playing regularly scoring a bit and showing the potential he has then he will start getting picked!

I dont think you can say they never warmed to him. When he was in form getting minutes and fit, he was being picked. When he wasnt in form, wasnt getting minutes and wasnt fit, he wasnt being picked.

As you said, if he shows form and scores goals he will be picked again.

I can't read that (behind a paywall) but if he has that's disappointing. Is his mind elsewhere too or was it a case of I'm not arsed with the 21s?

Key part of the article.

“ It should be noted that Ferguson’s promotion was arguably fast-tracked by the agents of Mipo Odubeko (18) at West Ham and Southampton’s Michael Obafemi (21) informing Crawford that the Dublin-born strikers are focused on Premier League breakthroughs this season.”

Haha neither of those two attempts lasted very long, did they?

Top stuff I was aware of Odubeko but not Obafemi! That's disappointing!

Anyone seen confirmation of Liam Scales to Celtic ? Or anything about Darren Randolph's transfer out of West Ham?

This post is more about transfers in general, but it seems like players have made some bad choices.

Doherty, seemed like a good move to a higher club. Would he have been better off staying at wolves?
Byrne, hasn't worked out in Cyprus
Parrott, Millwall and Ipswich, thankfully it seems to be working out at MK
Molumby, loaned to be on the bench.
Duffy, Celtic was a disaster for him but good that he seems to be back.
Collins, sitting on the bench at Burnley. Could have stayed with Stoke in a promotion chasing team and been playing. Could be getting relegated with Burnley and Stoke could be going up.

Seems to have worked out for Cullen.
Not sure if that's they're standard that they're just not good enough for their new clubs. When people say that a player needs to get out of their club, it seems like its worse when they do move.
The dark side.. And the light

There's 65 thousand reasons why Doherty might not agree with you, and there's no saying that Nunu still wouldn't have replaced him at Wolves last season if he decided to stay.
