I had to remove my flag yesterday from the ledge because it wasn't registered

Security didn't even know Joe McGlue's proper name to make it worse.

I never heard so much bullsh*t in all my life, my flag didn't have anything offensive on it either.

I was up in the premium section, tried to hang my flag over the hoardings.

They wont let you hang a flag over advertising hoardings. Theres also a rule on size. Maybe that was the issue.

Never mentioned any of those, they simply told me "the flag isn't allowed by hung up as it's not registered"

Was obviously noticeable the lack of flags on show yesterday in every section apart from the away end. Never heard of this registering sh*t LOL. Next time I'd call a gard over/record what these stewards are saying and ask them to clarify this registered sh*t, gards won't stand over them if its clearly being made up on the spot, play them at their own game

Scotland game will be first game in the upper tier, was planning on taking my tri colour to hang over the edge. Should I not bother now? Only thing I was worrying about before was that it may be too tall and obstruct the view from the boxes below.

From past discussions they we happy enough covering irfu logos and solid colour panels but didn't want FAI logo or sponsors hidden

There there would be general concern if the flags hung too low blocking those below

Having said that there is plenty of space to hang flags everywhere bar the lower level

How the hell do you register a flag?

I was told it was only for the England game.

Security took down my details and said it'll be ok to hang it up for the next game.

I heard that too, but you wouldn't know with the FAI. This could easily become the norm, they make the rules as they go along.

I'm not sure if you're the guy I'm talking about but I watched security take down a flag give it to the man and he walked 50 yards and tried to put it up again.

I was told it was 'not to provoke the opposition due to the history' yet directly opposite me i was looking at Union Jacks.
