Yup, everything is in sterling and euro. You're better off using sterling, it works out cheaper most of the time.

Au contraire.....bitter rivalry in the footie between Guernsey and Jersey every year and they have their own domestic league
The Guernsey Football Association runs Guernsey football. The top tier of Guernsey football is the Sure Mobile Priaulx league where there are 7 teams (Belgrave Wanderers, Northerners, Sylvans, St Martin's, Rovers, Rangers and Vale Recreation). The champions in 2006-07 were Northerners. The second tier is the Jackson league which is a mixture of top league players, lower players and youth players. The third tier is the Railway League, featuring three extra teams, Alderney, Guernsey Police and Port City. The Corbet Football Field donated by Jurat Wilfred Corbet OBE in 1932 has fostered the sport greatly over the years. Although more recently the island has upgraded to a larger, better quality stadium, called Footes Lane.[1] The annual Muratti match between the Channel Islands gives an airing to the traditional rivalry between Guernsey and Jersey. |

Anyone ever done Cherbourg sail?
Is this route rough or would you barely notice it? Thinking November time. The smaller ferries arent hectic for the sea sickness. Just wondering if any experiences here

Having done Dublin to Holyhead route many a time I have to disagree about the smaller boats not being hectic for sea sickness. The larger boat you hardly see anyone being sick, whilst the swift boats are like a scene out of a food poisoning movie. Last month travelling over, I'd say 30% of passengers were throwing up. My misses has now refused to step foot on one after what she witnessed

That's what I mean! The smaller ones are a disaster. Was on one to Scotland a couple of years back and it was
So the bigger ones are better? Even in rough enough conditions?

Done it for the Euros and can't remember anything out of the ordinary about it, all depends on the weather though. Would agree with the above that the bigger the boat the less chance of sea sickness if you're prone to that.

I’ve done it loads of times, have gone by ferry on hols each year since 2013. Went with Brittany Ferries, Rosslare to Bilbao this year but have gone to Cherbourg every other time.
Crossing is grand, never had any rough crossings. Cabins are fine, comfortable and have a tv with some video on demand on it. I’d advise to get club class if it’s not that much more expensive. If you have any Tesco club card vouchers, you can knock a fair amount off the price.
