Noe Baba released by Birmingham. Hopefully he'll be another one who's able to come home and rebuild in the LOI.
We're decent enough..

Received an update from Guinness World Records on the application to recognise Robbie Keane's consecutive years of goalscoring record yesterday, and it's not good news: http://irish-abroad.appspot.com/Blog?id=2988470919446889002

Pierce Sweeney and Liam McAlinden through to the L2 play-off final with Exeter, where they'll meet Eddie Nolan and Rowan Roache of Blackpool. John O'Sullivan and Jamie Devitt miss out with Carlisle, Alan Sheehan and Glen Rea suffer the same fate with Luton.
We're decent enough..

Alan Sheehan was the defender on the line that could have prevented the last minute winner, the bounce of the ball seemed to deceive both him and the goalkeeper. He had assisted Luton's first two goals, he has a great delivery from set-pieces.

It was Jordan Cook on the line, not Sheehan. I was surprised to see Glen Rea playing in midfield for Luton, he looked to have very little footballing ability on the occasions I watched him with the 21's, but he did ok tonight.

Apologies, I thought it was Sheehan, Sheehean had a good game and season, though  doubt he will ever rise beyond the lower leagues.
Rea has played as a DM for much of  the season there, especially since McGeehan broke his leg. His role is as an enforcer rather than anything else, with Mpanzu and D'ath being the more creative. I think Rea has enough discipline and a good enough attitude to get back to championship level at some stage. He is very limited bu the is the kind  of players managers  love.

Sheehan is a good player, unfortunately he's also a complete headbanger. At his age I'd agree it's unlikely he'll play at a higher level. I'd be very surprised to see Rea rise above L1 level, but I'd happily be proved wrong.
