I was at this memorable Euro Championship match with my mate from Sunderland and what a craicing expeirence it was.
 
One for you older members  - was the Irish crowd singing Ha'way the lads that day or did I have too much Guinness.

Well if you were at a game in 1976 between Ireland and Soviet Union (Russia) you were definitely on the sauce.

If you are referring tothe game in 1974 (GIvens hat trick at Dalymount) then you are still wrongLOL

I got the year wrong it was 1974 and my mate also reckons the crowd were singing Ha'way the lads.

Me Da brought us (little FW and little Greengooner) but we couldn't get in cos of the crowd outside.........Cry, remember hearing the roar of the crowd when we scored, deafening..........
