That's the team I'd go for too.

No issue with that.

That is likely the team I'd plump for also, but I can see the argument for maybe starting Knight instead of Obafemi, so that we can finish the game with at least one of Ferguson/Obafemi on the pitch. Try to keep it tight and go in to the last 20 minutes no worse than a goal behind and we'll have a chance of sneaking a result.

Doherty is a odd one really. SK has said in recent interviews about playing players who are in good form. In that case Doherty would be out and Coleman a certain starter. Although sometimes you just got get your best players on the pitch and Doherty starting and getting the armband will be a big boost to him cause he will prob start on the left.

Doherty will always try and make things happen. His flicked, outside-of-the-right boot passes gave us a bit of invention, although they are risky.

My team, not quite as attacking.

                      Bazunu
               Collins Egan O'Shea
  Coleman  Cullen Molumby  Doherty
           Smallbone  Knight
                    Ferguson

Thought Doherty was poor enough last night. Giving the ball away and felt is cross for the second goal would have been dealt with by a better keeper.

Coleman is injured lads, its why he came off late in the game for Everton v Chelsea last weekend. Wasn't in the squad last night and as far as I could tell from the media shots he hasn't taken part in training yet either. Would be mad to start him Monday if thats the case.

Edit: Took part in some training yesterday before the match. Still, point stands if hes not fully fit and started.

We're not going to anywhere nearly as open against France, we won't have enough of the ball to be. Being compact will help with Coleman's lack of pace. What it will give us is room to attack into, and so the big question will be Obafemi or Knight.
I think Kenny will play Knight and keep Obafemi for off the bench, just hopefully not waiting until the 80th minute.

Given that Kenny said he kept Knight back for Monday then you'd imagine he'll start over Smallbone.

whatever happens i hope its no ogbene centrally with his back to goal, like the UKR game. he'll be man handled around the place by their defenders.
doherty could be touch and go after last night too very poor performance. giving him the armband suggests some kind of seniority though so id expect him to play

                  GB
         Collins Egan OShea
Doherty cullen molumby odowda
            smallbone knight
                    Fergie

I think this will be close to the team also - Only 2 areas I think "could" be different is he might start Ogbene instead of Obafemi and start O'Dowda and drop Coleman (moving Doherty back to the right)

                     Bazunu
         Collins Egan OShea
Doherty/Coleman Cullen Molumby Browne McClean
              Knight
                    Ferg

I think Kenny will be going more defensive and will pick something like this
It would damage this forums' reputation

If Browne is starting might as well stay in the pub and watch the annihilation from there
