The team will be staying in Newcastle. Accommodation is hard to find as there is a big rugby league game on. We have an Irish lad Dave from Newcastle looking into accom options and he has arranged bus transfer from Newcastle to Ashington as well.

Great day out in Ashington. Winning 2-1. We were 1 down at half time but we had played well. Cometh the can cometh the man. Mad Dog Philly Keown, who'd a few pints and cans before the match scored the equaliser Clap. John McClarey got the winner in a comfortable second half. 

Was a great honour to meet Pat Charlton and her son Peter.
