SOme rugby game at the weeend, absolute hidin for the world chumpions....I reckon if we play like that in the owrld cup we might have a chance.  Do you notice aswell that when the rugb team is doin well the football team are muck and vice versa?

from what i can remember of it, it was a great performance from a quality team, playing with skill, pace and passion - tremendous. it's a shame we'll probably meet the all blacks in the Q/F of the world cup, but you never know!

Let's face it, Ireland beat a sh*t team that have won just 3 of their last 12 games.
Yet again, Ireland have under achieved this year with the Grand Slam gone again.
It's all very well winning triple crowns with Scot
, Eng and Wales as your competition.
World Cup will tell alot. When is the last time Ireland beat France??

Good result all the same against the World Champions who had Johnny Wilkinson back remember.  Agree with your point though about not beating France.  WE'll see how they get on next year especailly if they have one or 2 injuries as I dont think they have much depth if some of the boys were out.

World champions in name only. Wilkinson just back from years of injury!
dont let the result mask the fact that england are a second rate team.
although beating the brits is always good, dont get me wrong.
Its just typical of ireland the hype that goes with it.
Some peope even said it was one of our great sporting acheivements, give me a break
