been like that a long time. Depending how much your have to spare, no point admiring it in your bank account. Look to invest in a business/stock, assets or go on nice holidays.

10 year one returns 10%, not bad but you'd want a nice few quid I suppose. Just means your money isn't losing value really.

Investing in ETF’s is relatively safe investment. A highly diversified basket which can withstand slumps in some markets, leveraging concurrent growth in others. And unlike the state bond, you’d see higher rates of return on a much fast basis.

Given interest rates are where they are in the EU zone there have to be accounts paying interest. I imagine it would help to shop around.

Was connected to 0% interest set by ECB wasn't it?
Theoretically, with interest rates now going up, interest on deposits should in time go up also. I think. Could be way off |

- much lower interest on mortgage rates (good thing) - much lower interest on savings (bad thing for savers, but probably the reason stocks went up so much) It's coming back with interest rates rising tho, new bank Trade Republic offering 2% interest on your savings.

Great way to invest alright, pick the QQQ (Nasdaq) or SPY (S&P500) if you're going that route, they outperform all others by fair chunk over time and are usually the cheapest. You've to pay 42% tax on your gains is the main issue.
