Decent enough watch to be honest, few things I felt were repeated over and over again but have definitely watched a lot worse.

Ah TJ, you missed a sitter here. It's Kerrnal Gaddafi.

I really enjoyed it. The old LOI footage and the striking similarities between the two regimes in Ireland and Libya at the time.

Tripoli looked in better shape than Dublin in the 80's.

PM, this is what we are referring to:

Poor Gaddafi was killed for the same reason as Saddam Hussein.

He was going to stop selling oil in U.S dollars so they got rid of him.

It just seemed to ramble on and didn't quite get anywhere .
For me it was some guy in RTE gave some lad a camcorder and was told your budget is €50 away you go .
So €10 spent on a leap card , €5 to buy Rashers in a butchers , €15 to get in to see Pats at home and €15 to pay Johnny Mc his taxi fare , job done .
Lansdowne Road debut aged 52 and 201 days .

Have it recorded, watch it later......Dublin was indeed bleak in the late 80's looking from the prism of 2019, but back then it was a glorious time to be young, single and carefree with european and world cup adventures aplenty.

If someone with basic tech skills in Ireland can access the show, follow the below instructions, and send me the link, I can make it available to any interested parties.
https://www.rte.ie/player/series/in-league-with-gadaffi/SI0000006589?epguid=IP000065450&seasonguid=120317991961

1. Open above link to show on RTE Player
2. Open Dev Tools in Firefox or Chrome (just press F12)
3. Refresh page and start programme playing

4. Once programme is playing, go to Network tab on Dev Tools
5. Type .ism in filter box
6. You should see several options with M23213233-1571231213-video or -audio...any of these will do
7. Right click any of those, go to Copy, then Copy URL
8. PM the resultant link (best to do via PM)

If some wouldn't mind doing that I'll download it and should be able to make it publicly available...I would also appreciate this greatly as then I can watch it

Are you sure the RTE url is correct? nothing is playing, even when I refresh it. Could be blocked in work.

I'll try later at home.
