IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Despite the unexpected cancellation of Irish Fan Village project
, Poznan has different accommodation possibilities for the Irish Fans - guest houses, student dormitories or alternative campsites. Camper Van Village is going to be launched next week and from the 9th of March you will be able to book your place at www.campervanvillage.com. Two alternative Fan Camps are planned in Poznan – Carlsberg Fan Camp (http://www.carlsbergfancamp.pl/) and PolCamp2012 (http://www.polcamp2012.com/).

Two Fan Camps are still previewed in Poznan for UEFA EURO 2012™. More than 12 thousand people will find a place to sleep over there. Also, the offer of private houses and appartments in Poznan is growing up every day: www.poznan.pl/accomodation

Drivers will have a new location available from the next week, as the Camper Van Village is going to be launched on Wendesday. Booking a place will be possible at www.campervanvillage.com from Friday, 9th of March. Previewed capacity – ca. 250 parking places.

There is also another opportunity, not so far from the stadium, I think this is the closest one from other camping sites

Zero pictures of what this is going to/looks like or what facilities they have.

campervanvillage seems to have gone live and is charging €15 per person per night, however they are charging for a minimum of 4 person per night which works out at €60. Also it looks like they are initially offering 11 night deal but may change. Seems to be most reasonable considering Carlsberg camp are charging €25 per person per night

So are many staying here?

They have asked us to help organise a 5 a-side soccer tournament on site, and a gaelic football match, so just wondering if many are booking there?

'The village is designed to accommodate 300 campervans and 500 tents!'
