How many units of alcohol would you consume a week?

Was curious about this after watching the Adrian Chiles show the other week.

On average -
Stout - 2.3 units.
Beer - 3
Bottle of beer - 1.5
Wine - 12 per bottle.

I'm going to document my intake over the next few months to try and decrease the amount of units I consume a week\month.

Last week was a whopping 54.

The recommended intake in Ireland is between 17 and 21.

Would have been well over double the recommended intake most weeks last year, haven't had a drop since new years as trying to cut down and save money.

10-16 on average.  I don't drink at home usually, only in the pub. I will have a can the very odd time.  Would like to drink less as well.  I enjoy the first few pints on a night out and then after that its just drinking for the sake of drinking.

I had a hectic week just gone but plan on cutting back a lot for the next few weeks.

last week was around 60-65 units Dead


I plan on drinking very little over the next 7 weeks.

Havent had a drink since Dec 27th. My MO generally the last year or so is to stay off it with great intentions and then cave and have a 2/3 day bender. Want to knock that behaviour on the head too and just enjoy a night out and leave it at that.

LOLon a minibus up with a load of Dubs... I dont mind that really though, its going at it again on Monday is where my problem is and thats what i want to avoid.

Would normally be around 20 - 25 units which doesn't sound too high but that would be over 1/2 nights which isn't really healthy.

Think about it though - you have 5 pints 2 twice a week, you'll be grand the next day.

You have 10 pints on a Saturday night and you'll be in some heap the next day.

On average -
