Coleman just quit as Real Sociedad manager ..........id say Givens and the lads are all over ity wanting to interview him ....shambles of a process

soccerc read your article about Coppell as possible ireland manager.
 
I  agree the fact that the powers that be have not offered the job to any  of the leading candidates who are currently not employed as managers suggests that Coppell may be their man.
 
Coppell stated a couple of months ago that he feels he has taken Reading as far as he can.
 
It will be interesting to se what happens in the transfer window. If he loses Hunt to Sunderland ( a done deal I think Hunt has not expressed a wish to stay at Reading) also could perhaps lose Doyle, Coppell may walk.
 
Coppell is his own man dont forget he walked out on Man city.
 
Interested to hear peoples opinions on Coppell

would take coppel like a shot fatherjoxer although he had a poor spell at palace when i used to go and watch them. tuffpaddy is the man to talk to he has mett coppel a few times he was saying.
The first time the Devil made me do it. The second time I did it on my own.

I wouldn't dismiss him either especially as he goes by the Gaelic version of his surname, good start.
