A couple of cases of the cant-be-arseds there I'd say. Expect a few more over the course of the next week, there's a bad dose of it going around at the moment.

Let me guess, it’s Kenny’s fault they can’t be arsed?

I don't think it's a case of can't be arsed among any of the players but it certainly is Kenny's fault and the sooner that fookin jinx gets his marching orders the better.

The OTT childish reaction of fans is hilarious.  Murph is the same.  Sound like a bunch of 3 year olds and Kenny has stole your toys.  It’s football. Win some lose some.  He will move on.  He has done more good for Irish football than most. Was given the opportunity and it hasn’t worked out but it’s not a crime.  There is more hate on here for Kenny than there is for Delaney at times.
Talk of hate for SK is not widespread among his detractors, more huge frustration that we have gone backwards during his tenure which is exacerbated by having the opinion that he wasn't up to the job to start with and having to put up with the group think here who slavishly supported him.

Every manager should be supported.  Even if the next manager is duffer or Steve Bruce or Roy Keane I will support them.  That’s what supporters do.  They support.

Agree,  vociferously support the teams by all means during matches, but the manager shouldn't be above criticism if he is failing. Otherwise supporters are being totally servile. As regards the match tomorrow, the Dutch need to win to qualify, so expect a raucous atmosphere, and it's a dead rubber for us. I love nothing better than putting a stone in their clogs but doubt it. 3-0 win to the Netherlands.

I must have missed the meeting that decreed that supporters must support the manager? Particularly when the manager is damaging the team. Supporters of the team habitually call for players to be dropped, so why not drop the manager.

He's gone next week, it didn't work out. Get over it, he gave first caps to 24 players in his tenure, I'd bet that's un-matched in Europe throughout his time in charge. It wasn't all bad, the bad certainly outweighed the good but he tried to do something no other manager has and it was the breath of fresh air we all wanted. No other manager would have had success and that's not even up for debate, we're simply not good enough but hopefully these young lads can kick on now throughout the next few years.

Onto the topic at hand, I think 15/1 is crazy. If Ogbene and Ferguson are fit, we've nothing to lose and there's a bit of pressure on the Dutch. Think we will give it a go!
Here we go again

"No other manager would have had success.....". f**k it then, why bother having a manager at all? Let the team sort themselves out.

Agree with that, also think our next manager might be mentioned above

An you know what most of the people calling for players to be dropped and replaced with someone are clowns too.  It’s bloody obvious when a player should be picked like Ferguson was by Ke by Kenny.  Most of the other calls are marginal calls but the way people go on here absolute quality is left on the bench while rubbish is on the pitch.  The reality there is very little difference e between one championship player and another.

The Dutch are missing over half their team through injuries (and this is not a great Dutch team anyway) so the match should be close. A proper international manager would have had this Irish team playing for second place and still involved.

Surprisingly few goals in the squad. Nobody has reached double figures, Gakpo top scorer with eight, Van Dijk and Weghorst just behind with seven each

It will be interesting to see if the same posters are still saying that if we go for a Chris Hughton type manager next and he sticks 10 men behind the ball against every team that isn't Gibraltar.

If Hughton gets the job I will support him and would think he should get the nations league and World Cup qualifiers given his age and possibly the euros too.

I'll support him, but I wouldn't be optimistic about his tenure. Whoever gets the job should only be getting a contract up to the end of the WC campaign with an option to extend. While I think qualification for the WC will be difficult, the FAI have to give themselves the option of getting rid of any new manager without paying a fortune if things go badly tits up.

What is meant by "I'll support him"? If you genuinely think the incumbent is failing, and will continue to fail, he should have unwavering support? One nations league and one qualifying campaign to determine if its working, regardless of who the manager is, or what his football philosophy is.
