Hopefully that means the other lads are fit to play unless they're waiting till game day before ruling them out.

Kenny is some jinx.  Ebosele out and Ferguson will be out too knowing Kenny.

I hope that's Paul McGrath and not Jamie.

Good news so.

A couple of cases of the cant-be-arseds there I'd say. Expect a few more over the course of the next week, there's a bad dose of it going around at the moment.

So why did both players travel to Dublin? I'm sure Smallbone's scan results came back showing more than can't be arsed.

Yeah that's total bollocks! Smallbone came into the camp with an injury and Festy was buzzing in his interview yesterday. Just one of those things

Smallbone never came over. Southampton basically ruled him out, he stayed there for treatment. He's got 2 injuries as well, never mind 1.

But yeah neither of these are I can't be arsed

Let me guess, it’s Kenny’s fault they can’t be arsed?

It's two nothing games at a very busy point of a long season. Clubs will be happy to find excuses to pull players out if they get half a chance. No consequences in terms of falling out with the manager if you don't show, as he won't be there next time around. Expect these lads to be back firing fit in time for their next club games. Just the way of it.

Haven't kept up to date with all the injury news etc but this is what id like to see if Moran is in the squad

                     Bazunu

Doherty   Collins    O'Shea    Scales

              Molumby Knight

Ogbene       Browne        Moran

                       Fergie

Give that a bash against the Dutch. I'd like to see this team myself.

I don't think it's a case of can't be arsed among any of the players but it certainly is Kenny's fault and the sooner that fookin jinx gets his marching orders the better.

Wings? They're only the band The Beatles could have been.

The OTT childish reaction of fans is hilarious.  Murph is the same.  Sound like a bunch of 3 year olds and Kenny has stole your toys.  It’s football. Win some lose some.  He will move on.  He has done more good for Irish football than most. Was given the opportunity and it hasn’t worked out but it’s not a crime.  There is more hate on here for Kenny than there is for Delaney at times.

"Not quite as bad a Delaney" isn't exactly a ringing endorsement all the same....

Ireland 0:2 Netherlands

Imagine the Irish performance in your head right now. Picturing it? That's pretty much how this match will pan out.
