I like Hatton meself, Mayweather's a typically sporting arrogant Yank who I hope gets taken down a peg or two. Read a great piece about Hatton in Observer Sports Monthly recently, seems like a very down to earth lad, humble and nobody seems to have a bad word to say about him. Could be a top scrap.

Don't know much about Hatton, but agree Freewheeler the fans love him for been a regular joe. Read a letter about a fight he had in Las Vegas, after the fight he was walking through a casino bar, and he met some fans and started boozing away with them. No entourage, no nothing.
He's also very funny anytime I see him been interviewed. Calling him a manc knacker's a bit harsh Billybob.

Holy jaysus lads, I thought I'd be the only one on the forum to have the privilage to share a pint with the lad! Met him in an Irish bar in Tenerife a couple of yrs ago - very very sound and genuine lad. I hope he wins but there's no doubt Mayweather will be his toughest opponent yet - the lad looks the sh1t.....no matter how much ball0x he talks

Can't do it Roger. As I said previously this is a fresh start for Irish football so I'm changing with it. The first YBIG was Israel at home..and sometimes.... I honestly think we have jinxed the team . Ever since that game (ok conceding a last minute away goal in Israel maybe) in a group we seriously looked like winning, Ireland have gone to sh*te.. Hopefully Bob can bring a bit of luck,
