And only a few minutes after he came on as a sub, Bayern gave away a penalty to go 3-0 down. LOL

Is it more Spursy that he lost? Or would it have been super Spursy for him to win a trophy 24 hours after leaving?

That's like saying Man City won't win trophies because they lost the Charity Shield

Is it? I don’t recall many on here talking about City winning trophies quite as easily as BM are going to win them.

It’s not a real trophy at the end of the day
Charity shields and super cups aren’t major trophies

As good as City are, they haven't won the league 10 years in a row. I don't think the German charity shield is going to change many opinions.

The Premier League is pretty competitive.  What's the Bundesliga?  Bayern have won the league the last 11 years in a row.

City are going for their 6th title in 7 years and I can't see anyone winning the title apart from them in the next few seasons at least.

They will still probably win it, but if you're a footballer the chance to play for Bayern Munich or Spurs is a complete no brainer.

Would would be amusing is if Munich didn't win the league and Spurs won a trophy.

It would be amusing somewhat but I've no ill feeling towards Kane who genuinely seems a decent lad.

Definitely one of the more likable England superstars tbh.
Wings? They're only the band The Beatles could have been.

German sports press are mixed on the arrival of Kane. They are very happy that England's captain, top goal scorer chose to come to Germany.
Disappointment at such a high price being paid on a foreign talent (and 30 years of age) by the richest club in the league , making the Bundesliga even more uncompetitive and seemingly less important than the CL. They also bemoan the fact that such sums should be invested in local talent (who was the last decent German centre forward since Klose ?) as the national team are also struggling.

Red B'tard fans are happy.
