Early days but what do people think is achievable-

All top spot requires is win all your home games, beat Lux and Abz away and then a point away to Serbia or Portugal. 19 points should be enough. Always sounds easy on paper.

But realistically we are aiming for RU spot.

It’s possible but for me I think this campaign is one year too early for some of our promising players/ forwards.

I think 14/15 points - a few draws in there.

I really don't get these comments, surely people should give their honest opinion as opposed to blind positivity for the sake of it?

We are a bang average side on a horrendous run, there is absolutely nothing to suggest we will finish second in this group on current form.

We will be lucky to finish close to 14 points never mind anymore.

Spot-on, GD. Optimism is admirable but total disregard for reality is stupid.

Jaysus, that's the reality.

Exactly, we have barely scored a goal in 2 years this is a rebuilding campaign.
It would damage this forums' reputation

I expect 12 points from Luxembourg and Azerbaijan. Luxembourg have improved but are still the weakest 4th seed. Azerbaijan are also tough 5th seeds but we still should beat them. 2 points against Serbia hopefully and a point against Portugal could be enough for 2nd.

Serbia score goals rather easily though, we don't.

12 points is the minimum requirement against Luxembourg & Azerbaijan. I feel we'll be competing with Serbia for 2nd spot and they are a real mixed bag. 2 points against them and the inevitable 0 against Portugal might be enough for 2nd. 14 points is a realistic aim
