Graham Cummins is being linked with a move to England, QPR, Reading & Millwall are leading the chase. How good is he?

He'll be like Mooney although hes not proven in the Premier Division here so remains to be seen how we will fair out.

You,re right there. He's similar to Mooney but he's physically stronger and he has a great work rate.
City have valued him at €100k.According to the local radio in Cork this afternoon QPR are favourites to sign him .Would be gutted to lose him .Without him City would have nothing

First Division is his level.
England is a step beyond him in my opinion.

Would be very pleased if he got a move. It would be huge for Shels promotion hopes
I dont get to see him everyweek but from what ive seen of him he would be a very good premier division player and i think he would do well further a field. Whenever he has played Shels he has looked quality. He has been a cut above everyone on the field. Ive always fancied Anto Flood to do well in the premier and he has done ok but Cummins is on a different level. He is on the Dave McAllister scale of best players ive seen in Division 1 and he is doing alright for himself now a days. Edited by Landon Donovan - 11 Jun 2011 at 2:35pm |

Lost him to Foras CCTV last year (or whatever they are called this week) for a mere € 50 or so a week, quality player in Div 1 anyway, but in all reality, prob be like Dave Mooney and struggle to make breakthrough in Championship. Hope I'm wrong, be delighted if he did well.

I wouldn't say he is as good as Mooney just yet. Cummins is a quality player but it's easy to be fooled when you're playing the likes of Mervue and Wexford every week. He has to prove he can cut it just as well in the premier before we rate him. Agree about losing him though. He is our main man for goalscoring at this time. I don't think we should sell him at all, no matter what offer we get. Is 100k really worth missing out on promotion? I wouldn't think so. |

Would hate to loose him but City are in a position where we dont have to unless of course the player wants a move. I dont think the club would stand in his way. He's a class act but not as good as Mooney yet

good player in first division, dont really know his level yet though. He's still only 23 and will get better, but it remains to be seen if he could make it in england. I hope he stays with city and helps us get promotion
