ROSS that's actually a really good idea. I'm sure a lot of bob's would be willing to allow the campervan to park on their property.

Aye, there's 6 of us but apartment was only for 3 so messaged him & he said it's grand to park up in front of the apartment.

I didn't have as much luck. 4 of us booked into an AirBnB, a 5th lad joined us a few months ago so I messaged the owner just to check if it was ok if we'd have 5 and that he'd sleep on the ground.... she said no! Cry

We're still gonna chance sneaking him in mind! LOL

We did it in Poland. All the way across Europe in 1979 VW camper. Six of us. Time of my life. Stayed in various campsites, hotels and apartments and we're doing it again for France.

The only problem is, the cammper's not well. Anyone got one I could borrow?

For anyone interested there's an area in lille free parking for camper vans I believe it's near the zoo along a canal, how safe it is I don't know but I think we will be chancing it.

The North got it quite handy tbh.......nice ones too! Start in Nice, then make their way up to Lyon and then on up to Paris (Parc des Princes)......each journey approx 4hours driving and in the one direction.

Parkopedia is a good website for checking out free or paid parking around cities . Might be worth having a look
