heard from a very reliable source that Stan froze during the half time team talk against Cyprus. What a muppet! Lets remember him for the good times as a player. Don't want Brady either

The only thing i'll miss about Stan is that he'll soon dissappear from giftgrub and be cast into the shadows along with Jose & Jaap "it goes well in my brain! Staam.
I reckon todayfm should dedicate the Friday slot to giftgrubs former legends to discuss the week in football.Big%20smileBig%20smileBig%20smile

Stan did freeze in the dressing-room at half-time against Cyprus. His mind went completely blank. I know people are saying he's a muppet but at least he was a great player. In my opinion he wasn't even that - he was terribly overrated and I never liked the man. I always thought, even back in his playing days, that he came across as a right tw@t on tv and in interviews. He always had the 'why are you asking me quastions/defencive stance against all journalists and reporters. Never liked him and now I have further reasons to dislike him........
