Speaking of Israeli flags it reminds me of living in Tel Aviv back in World Cup 98 days. We'd been there a few months and my mate was legging it out of the country, now before you leave to get your flight everyone gets asked lots of questions and they go through your bag, this happens to everyone.

So I nicked a small hand held Israeli flag with it's plastic handle and scrawled a swastika and cock on either side of the flag, and duly stashed it in my mates bag, as you do.

So anyhoots off he goes to the airport, arrives checks in gets asked the questions while they throughly rummage through everything in his bag, out pops the flag - my mate informs me when I meet him in Holland-  He's wondering what the f**k is that, but instead of unrolling it they see it's an Israeli flag and smile and put it to the side and dont unfurl it and keep going on with the search, ask him the usual questions and off he is on his way.

I told a few ex-pats what I did and they couldn't believe it as they said he'd get detained and interrogated over it and be awhile before he left the country.

Needless to say when my mate finally opened his bag in Holland and checked the flag he was f**king livid.

Needless to say I was f**king lived he didn't get caught with the flag-One of those moments I look back on with regret. WHY those bastids didn't  do their job and open the small flag
