All new asylum seekers should be put in the Southside of Dublin. The biggest pack of hypocrites in this country.

Just in case anybody thought that the authorities making decisions (worthless ones obviously given we don't enforce deportation orders) have any idea what international protection applicants have been up to in other countries before they take a liking to Ireland.

Less than a week after we were told this wouldn't be allowed happen again. I'm intrigued as to where this is going to go over the next 12/18 months

Had to laugh at Hazel Chu saying there isn't enough schools or services for Asylum seekers in D4 or 6 even though there is not 1 in D4. No problem laying into working class community's though. And no fire certs in a Ballsbridge nursing home but 1000 women and children in an East Wall office block with absoloutley no fire regs in place and that is fact.

I've said it before but I think SF used to say in their website they believed about 8k a year was fair and sustainable. I'd agree. I think we were right to take an exceptional number of Ukrainians although mistakes were made. What we shouldn't have done is increase the annual number massively after the huge bump from that war. The people have been completely taken advantage of.
