I'm off to the dentist for a cleaning tomorrow.  85 beans.  Expensive enough.

Was in Boots the other day and saw teeth whitening strips for sale around 30-40 squid.  Didn't buy.

Anywan ever use them and if so are they any good?

Dont want to look like yer man on the Rockshore ad.  Just a bit of a whiten.

My brother used to bring good ones home from America once or twice a year
You can’t get them here, can’t remember the name of them

The dentist quoted me 295 euro to get them whitened at their place.

It's subsidised but not necessarily free. I dunno if the stuff on the citizens information site is out of date (says a limit of 15 euros) or what, but I paid 48 last week. Trap's should definitely not have cost 85 for his first one of the year.

Strips are a waste of time alright unless you get them from abroad, even then, there's a load of the knock off crest ones

You shouldn’t pay more than €15 for your once a year polish and clean. They’re ripping you off if you’re paying more that that.

The ones in the US are far better, the EU don't allow them for some reason, not sure if there's some extra chemical or something.

The kit gives you a chart that you can match your colour again. So you can see at the start you're a 5/10 and then by the end of the two week period you're a 7/10 or whatever. I found that good to prove they work, the difference is kinda subtle otherwise

I'd guess they categorise it as a scale & polish + gum health check, which did catch a filling early a couple of years ago. They are booked 12 months in advance and almost all dentists & hygenists in town aren't taking on new patients so I'd be mad to burn any bridges there LOL
