Lads, level with me, is it beginning to look like we mightnt qualify? I spent the last month booking flights and hotels in Germany and now this happens! If only there had been some warning.

Mathematically eliminated now. If someone starts a war though and gets kicked out we could still be first reserve. Denmark won in '92 from that position!

Denmark got Yugoslavia's place as they were in their group (arguably Ireland 1992 were actually the best team not to qualify). Here Greece are ahead of us in the group so we realistically need Greece to go to war with one of France or Holland. Didn't Bismarck trick France into war with the Ems telegram? Is there some email equivalent some lad on here, who is handy with the IT, could dream up to trick, say, France into going to war with Greece? Is there a French equivalent of the Elgin marbles or some such they could fight over? Cmon lads, think. Its not over yet....

There is actually.....winged Victory of Samothrace in the Louvre! Could be our salvation.
Was thinking if one of the playoff sides  got canned we might get bumped up in to it. Not that we'd get beyond the first hurdle mind

With the playoff ruled out am I right in saying we now have no competitive game until September '24? Far as I can tell the March window will be Playoffs and friendlies, Euros in June, Nations League is condensed into the Sep/Oct/Nov '24 windows.

Don't even have the NL draw until February this time.
