Remember that show on Sky ''Footballs next Star''.  Few Irish lads on it.One got an Inter Milan contract but would rather hang out in Dublin, EIRE.

Didn't the Irish lad finish runner up?

Connor Smith I think went on to play for Watford

No different show.  Prize on offer was some sort of deal with Inter Miami (sorry Milan)

Ah right. Thumbs Up

I just remember "Street Striker". Focused a bit more on players being able to do fancy party pieces rather than practical footballing skill which I thought was a waste of time. Some of the young lads who got let go didn't take it very well either.

Don't think these football talent shows are a good idea really.

In fairness, it couldn’t be much worse than “Vote for Me” which was a political version of “Britain’s Got Talent, on ITV, before the 2005 General Election.

I suppose a little unfair to add him to this list as he actually had a decent enough career ravaged by injuries  of course but Jack Wilshire has retired aged 30 last played for AGF in Denmark
