Both have struggled for game time, particularly in the second half of the season, in a poor squad that has been relegated from League 1. As the first post says, Devoy was brought in to try to replace Matt O'Riley. If you click on the link in that post there's a lad saying he'll be in the Premier League in a couple of years. He's nowhere near that standard, people need to be more realistic. A year in League 2 could be good for his development.

Devoy has played 34 times. A roaring success it has not been, but nor has he been out of his depth. The "finding his level in L2" jibes are symptomatic of the rush to write off so often seen on here. He's a 21 year old who has spent a season adapting within a struggling side ffs.
